AGTR1 is a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor for angiotensin II and is a major regulator of vascular tone, blood pressure and renal sodium handling. As a cell-surface receptor, it signals through G proteins to activate phospholipase C and raise intracellular calcium, coupling extracellular angiotensin II to downstream cardiovascular and cellular responses.
Boster Bio Anti-Angiotensin II Type 1 Receptor/AGTR1 Antibody Picoband® PB9470 is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against an N-terminal human AGTR1 peptide. It is intended for research detection of AGTR1 in studies of angiotensin signalling and receptor expression.
