CXCL5, also known as ENA-78, is a secreted CXC chemokine involved in inflammatory leukocyte recruitment. It signals primarily through CXCR2, promoting neutrophil chemotaxis and activation, and has also been implicated in angiogenic and tissue-remodelling responses. Its biologically relevant localisation is extracellular following secretion.
