Product description

CXCL16 is an unusual CXC chemokine that exists as a transmembrane cell-surface protein and, after proteolytic shedding, as a soluble chemokine. It binds CXCR6 to support chemotaxis of activated lymphocyte populations and can also function as a scavenger receptor for oxidised LDL, linking it to inflammatory and vascular biology.
