NFKB1 encodes the p105 precursor of the NF-κB p50 subunit. Proteolytic processing produces p50, which participates in NF-κB transcription factor complexes that regulate immune, inflammatory and stress-responsive gene expression. The precursor is mainly cytoplasmic, while activated NF-κB complexes containing p50 can accumulate in the nucleus.
Boster Bio PB9149 is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against recombinant human NFKB1 p105/p50 protein. It is intended for research detection of NFKB1-derived p105/p50, with assay and sample specifications presented separately in the product metadata.
