ABI2 is an adaptor protein involved in Rac signalling and actin cytoskeleton organisation. It forms part of the WAVE regulatory complex and is associated with structures including lamellipodia, filopodia, adherens junctions and the nucleoplasm, supporting processes such as cell migration and junction organisation.
