AATF, or apoptosis-antagonising transcription factor, is a nuclear regulatory protein involved in transcription, ribosome biogenesis and cellular responses to stress. It has been linked to control of apoptosis and cell-cycle progression through interactions with multiple signalling and transcriptional pathways.
