Product Description

Boster Bio Anti-OAS2 Antibody Picoband® catalog # A01878-4. Tested in WB, Flow Cytometry, ELISA applications. This antibody reacts with Mouse, Rat. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.

2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase 2 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the OAS2 gene. Enables 2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase activity and double-stranded RNA binding activity. Involved in defense response to virus; regulation of lactation; and type I interferon signaling pathway. Acts upstream of or within RNA catabolic process; interleukin-27-mediated signaling pathway; and response to bacterium. Predicted to be located in perinuclear region of cytoplasm. Predicted to be active in cytosol; membrane; and nucleoplasm. Is expressed in embryo. Orthologous to human OAS2 (2'-5'-oligoadenylate synthetase 2).
