Ubiquitin is a small regulatory protein that can exist free or become covalently attached to other proteins. Different ubiquitin linkages help control processes including proteasomal degradation, endocytosis, DNA-damage responses and intracellular signalling, so ubiquitin is distributed broadly through cellular protein-regulation pathways rather than being confined to a single compartment.
Boster Bio’s Anti-Ubiquitin/UBB Antibody Picoband® is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against recombinant human ubiquitin spanning Met77–Gly152 of the UBB precursor. It provides a primary antibody for research detection of ubiquitin.
