Product description

NFKB2 encodes the p100 precursor of the NF-κB p52 subunit. Regulated processing of p100 generates p52, a component of the non-canonical NF-κB pathway that helps control immune-cell development, inflammatory signalling and other transcriptional programmes. p100 is predominantly cytoplasmic, whereas processed p52 can enter the nucleus in transcriptionally active NF-κB complexes.
