SLC2A1, commonly known as GLUT1, is a facilitative glucose transporter that supports constitutive glucose uptake across the plasma membrane. It is especially important at the blood-brain barrier and is highly expressed in erythrocytes and brain endothelial cells. The protein is a multi-pass membrane transporter that localises predominantly at the cell surface.
This Boster Bio antibody recognises SLC2A1 and is supplied as a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against recombinant human SLC2A1 protein. It is intended for research use in studies of GLUT1 expression, localisation and glucose transport biology.
