CD86, also known as B7-2, is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein of the immunoglobulin superfamily expressed on antigen-presenting cells. At the cell surface it provides co-stimulatory signals through CD28 and CTLA-4, helping regulate T-cell activation, survival and the balance between immune stimulation and inhibition.
This Boster Bio PicoKine® ELISA kit is designed for quantitative detection of rat CD86. The product identity and target assignment are supported by the current Boster catalogue record for EK0712.
