Product description

CTLA-4 (CD152) is an inhibitory immune checkpoint receptor in the immunoglobulin superfamily. It is expressed by activated T cells and constitutively by regulatory T cells, where binding to CD80 and CD86 counterbalances CD28-mediated co-stimulation and helps restrain T-cell activation. CTLA-4 is found at the plasma membrane and in intracellular vesicular compartments involved in receptor trafficking.
