CSF1R, also known as M-CSFR or CD115, is a cell-surface receptor tyrosine kinase for CSF1 and IL-34. In mouse, it is a single-pass membrane protein with key roles in the survival, proliferation and differentiation of mononuclear phagocytes, including macrophages and monocytes, and also contributes to osteoclast biology, innate immune signalling and microglial development.
