CD27 (TNFRSF7) is a member of the tumour necrosis factor receptor superfamily expressed at the cell surface, particularly on subsets of T cells, B cells and natural killer cells. Binding of its ligand CD70 supports lymphocyte activation, survival and the generation and maintenance of T-cell immunity, with downstream signalling involving pathways including NF-κB and JNK.
