Product description

Interleukin-18 (IL-18) is a pro-inflammatory cytokine of the IL-1 family that is produced as an inactive precursor in the cytoplasm of cells including macrophages and keratinocytes. Caspase-1 processing generates the active cytokine, which promotes interferon-gamma production and helps regulate innate and T-cell immune responses.

This Boster Bio Human IL-18/IL-1F4/Interleukin-18 ELISA Kit PicoKine® is a sandwich immunoassay designed for quantitative measurement of human IL-18. The kit uses an IL-18-specific pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated detection antibody and a recombinant human IL-18 standard.
