PPBP, also known as CXCL7 or NAP-2, is a platelet-derived CXC chemokine precursor stored in platelet alpha granules and released following platelet activation. Proteolytic processing generates biologically active forms including connective tissue-activating peptide III and neutrophil-activating peptide 2, which contribute to inflammatory cell recruitment, neutrophil responses and tissue repair.
Boster Bio EK0729 is a human PPBP/CXCL7 ELISA kit configured with an anti-human PPBP pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated anti-human PPBP detection antibody and a human PPBP standard for quantitative immunoassay workflows.
