Product description

PIK3CA encodes the p110α catalytic subunit of class I phosphoinositide 3-kinase. In response to activated growth-factor and other signalling receptors, the PI3K complex is recruited to the cytoplasmic face of cellular membranes, where p110α generates phosphatidylinositol 3,4,5-trisphosphate (PIP3). This lipid signal recruits downstream effectors including AKT and PDPK1 and helps regulate cell growth, survival, proliferation and motility.

This Boster Bio PIK3CA antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a recombinant human PIK3CA fragment. It is intended for research detection of the PIK3CA protein; assay-specific settings and other technical specifications are provided separately on the product page.
