Product description

Cystathionine beta-synthase (CBS) is a cytosolic enzyme that catalyses the first committed step of the transsulfuration pathway, converting homocysteine and serine to cystathionine. This links methionine metabolism to cysteine production and also contributes to endogenous hydrogen sulphide generation.

Boster Bio RP1041 is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against an E. coli-derived human CBS recombinant protein spanning residues A331-K551. It is intended for research detection of CBS, with detailed application, reactivity and formulation information retained in the structured product specifications.
