Product description

AASS (aminoadipate-semialdehyde synthase) is a mitochondrial bifunctional enzyme that catalyses the first two steps of lysine degradation through lysine-ketoglutarate reductase and saccharopine dehydrogenase activities. It converts lysine through saccharopine towards alpha-aminoadipic semialdehyde and is broadly expressed, including in liver and other metabolically active tissues.

This Boster Bio product is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against human AASS. It is intended for research detection of the mitochondrial AASS protein.
