Product description

KLK1 (kallikrein 1, also known as tissue kallikrein) is a secreted serine protease in the kallikrein–kinin system that cleaves kininogens to release vasoactive kinins such as Lys-bradykinin. It contributes to regulation of vascular tone, inflammatory signalling and tissue remodelling. In humans, KLK1 expression is particularly enriched in the salivary gland and pancreas, with additional expression in tissues including the kidney; the mature enzyme acts extracellularly following secretion and proteolytic activation.

Boster Bio Human KLK1/Kallikrein 1 ELISA Kit PicoKine® is a quantitative sandwich ELISA for human KLK1. Boster specifies a KLK1-specific pre-coated microplate, human KLK1 standard and biotinylated anti-KLK1 detection antibody for measurement of the target in research samples.
