CD163 is a scavenger receptor expressed predominantly on monocytes and macrophages. It is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein involved in clearance of haemoglobin–haptoglobin complexes and in regulation of macrophage responses; proteolytic shedding can also generate soluble CD163.
This Boster Bio PicoKine® ELISA kit is designed for quantitative measurement of human CD163. The description is intentionally limited to product-specific biological context, with assay specifications and handling information provided separately in the ABMIUM product data.
Fully tested in-house by ABMIUM. Highest confidence. Non-conformities fully supported under the ABMIUM Product Promise.
