Product description

Plectin (PLEC) is a large cytolinker protein that connects intermediate filaments with other cytoskeletal systems and junctional structures, helping maintain cellular architecture and mechanical integrity. It is associated with the cytoskeleton and is enriched at structures including hemidesmosomes, focal adhesions and podosomes, where it helps organise cytoskeletal networks and signalling complexes.

This Boster Bio antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide from the middle region of human plectin. It is intended for research into PLEC expression, cytoskeletal organisation and cell-junction biology.
