Product description

MICB is a stress-inducible, heavily glycosylated cell-surface protein related to MHC class I molecules. It acts as a ligand for the activating NKG2D receptor on natural killer cells and subsets of T cells, helping the immune system recognise and respond to stressed or abnormal cells. Unlike classical MHC class I proteins, MICB does not associate with beta-2-microglobulin or function in peptide antigen presentation.

Human MICB ELISA Kit PicoKine® from Boster Bio is designed for quantitative measurement of human MICB using a sandwich ELISA format. The exact Boster catalogue item is EK0963, with MICB-specific capture and biotinylated detection antibodies.
