Product description

TMEM173, also known as STING1, is an endoplasmic-reticulum membrane protein central to cytosolic DNA sensing. Binding of cyclic dinucleotides such as cGAMP activates STING-dependent signalling, promoting TBK1 and IRF3 activation and type I interferon responses; activated STING subsequently traffics away from the endoplasmic reticulum.
