MAD1L1 encodes MAD1, a core component of the spindle-assembly checkpoint that prevents anaphase until chromosomes are correctly attached and aligned. During mitosis, MAD1 participates in checkpoint signalling at unattached kinetochores and shows cell-cycle-dependent localisation, including centrosomal, spindle-midzone and midbody-associated sites.
This Boster Bio Picoband® antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a recombinant human MAD1 protein fragment, providing a target-specific reagent for studying MAD1L1 protein biology.
