SLC2A2, commonly known as GLUT2, is a facilitative hexose transporter that mediates bidirectional transport of glucose and also transports fructose and galactose. It is an integral plasma-membrane protein with important roles in hepatocytes and glucose-sensing physiology, including pancreatic beta cells.
This Boster Bio antibody recognises SLC2A2 and is supplied as a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against a synthetic peptide from the C-terminal region of human SLC2A2. It is intended for research use in studies of GLUT2 expression and glucose transport biology.
