Product description

CD59 is a GPI-anchored cell-surface glycoprotein that protects cells from complement-mediated damage. It inhibits formation of the membrane attack complex by interfering with C8/C9-dependent pore assembly at the plasma membrane; soluble CD59 forms have also been reported.
