ABCB4, also known as MDR3, is an ATP-dependent phosphatidylcholine translocator expressed at the canalicular membrane of hepatocytes. It moves phosphatidylcholine from the inner to the outer leaflet of the membrane so that biliary phospholipids can enter the canalicular lumen, supporting normal bile composition and helping protect the biliary epithelium from detergent effects of bile salts.
Boster Bio PB9275 is a rabbit polyclonal antibody directed against ABCB4. It provides a target-specific reagent for studying ABCB4 protein, while detailed application, reactivity, formulation and variant information is retained in the product metafields.
