CD244 (2B4) is a cell-surface immunoreceptor found on natural killer cells and subsets of other lymphocytes, where it contributes to regulation of cytotoxic activity and lymphocyte signalling. In rat, Cd244 is associated with the external side of the plasma membrane and is linked to natural killer-cell activation and lymphocyte proliferation.
