CDC73, also known as parafibromin or HRPT2, is a tumour-suppressor protein involved in transcriptional and post-transcriptional regulation. It is a component of the PAF1 complex associated with RNA polymerase II and is predominantly nuclear, where it participates in control of actively transcribed chromatin.
