Product description

Anti-Ferritin light chain/FTL Antibody Picoband® is a research-use antibody from Boster Bio for studying Ferritin light chain in Flow Cytometry, IHC, IHC-P, WB workflows with listed reactivity for Human, Rat. Specifications and supporting documents below should be reviewed when planning the experiment.

Boster Bio Anti-Ferritin light chain/FTL Antibody Picoband® catalog # A01956-1. Tested in WB, IHC, Flow Cytometry applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Rat. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.

This gene encodes the light subunit of the ferritin protein. Ferritin is the major intracellular iron storage protein in prokaryotes and eukaryotes. It is composed of 24 subunits of the heavy and light ferritin chains. Variation in ferritin subunit composition may affect the rates of iron uptake and release in different tissues. A major function of ferritin is the storage of iron in a soluble and nontoxic state. Defects in this light chain ferritin gene are associated with several neurodegenerative diseases and hyperferritinemia-cataract syndrome. This gene has multiple pseudogenes.
