About ANGPT2

Target information is kept separate from product-level validation so you can review the biology and the reagent evidence independently.

Biology

Biological function

ANGPT2 (angiopoietin-2) is a secreted vascular ligand that binds TEK/TIE2 and competes with ANGPT1, modulating Tie2 signaling and endothelial stability. Its effects are context-dependent: it can support vascular regression without pro-angiogenic cues and facilitate endothelial migration and proliferation in the presence of VEGF.

Experimental context

Research context

ANGPT2 is widely studied in angiogenesis, vascular remodeling, endothelial activation, inflammation and lymphangiogenesis. ABMIUM research products associated with ANGPT2 can support studies of expression and extracellular vascular signaling; confirm species, application, sample type and product-level validation before use.
