Serum-Paraoxonase/Arylesterase 1 (PON1), auch bekannt als aromatische Esterase 1 oder Serum-Aryldialkylphosphatase 1, ist ein Enzym, das beim Menschen durch das PON1-Gen kodiert wird. Das PON-Gen wurde auf Chromosom 7q21-q22 kartiert, und das Maus-Pon1-Gen wurde am proximalen Ende von Chromosom 6 kartiert. PON1 ist für die Hydrolyse von Organophosphat-Pestiziden und Nervengasen verantwortlich. Polymorphismen im PON1-Gen beeinflussen die katalytische Fähigkeit des Enzyms signifikant. PON1 (Paraoxonase 1) ist auch eine wichtige antiatherosklerotische Komponente des High-Density-Lipoproteins (HDL).
