GLYM Kaninchen pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die GLYM betreffen.
Dieses Gen kodiert die mitochondriale Form eines Pyridoxalphosphat-abhängigen Enzyms, das die reversible Reaktion von Serin und Tetrahydrofolat zu Glycin und 5,10-Methylentetrahydrofolat katalysiert. Das kodierte Produkt ist primär für die Glycinsynthese verantwortlich. Es wurde vorgeschlagen, dass die Aktivität des kodierten Proteins die primäre Quelle für intrazelluläres Glycin ist.
