Fibronectin Mouse mAb ist ein ELK Biotechnology Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe mit Fibronectin.
Fibronectin ist ein hochmolekulares Glykoprotein der extrazellulären Matrix, das an membranspannende Rezeptorproteine, sogenannte Integrine, bindet. Ähnlich wie Integrine bindet Fibronectin extrazelluläre Matrixkomponenten wie Kollagen. Fibronectin existiert als Proteindimer, bestehend aus zwei nahezu identischen Monomeren, die durch ein Paar Disulfidbrücken verbunden sind. Das Fibronectin-Protein wird aus einem einzigen Gen produziert, aber alternatives Spleißen seiner prä-mRNA führt zur Entstehung mehrerer Isoformen.
