Plant actin Mouse mAb ist ein ELK Biotechnology-Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die Pflanzenaktin betreffen.
Aktin ist ein hochkonserviertes Protein und ein wesentlicher Bestandteil des Zellskeletts. Es spielt eine wichtige Rolle bei der zytoplasmatischen Strömung, der Zellformbestimmung, der Zellteilung, der Organellenbewegung und dem Streckenwachstum. Es wird bevorzugt in jungen und expandierenden Geweben, Blütenorganprimordien, sich entwickelnden Samen und aufkeimenden Blütenständen exprimiert. Antikörper gegen pflanzliches Aktin sind nützlich als Ladekontrollen für Western Blots.
