alpha Lactalbumin Mouse mAb ist ein ELK Biotechnology-Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die alpha Lactalbumin beinhalten.
Bei Primaten wird die alpha-Lactalbumin-Expression als Reaktion auf das Hormon Prolaktin hochreguliert und erhöht die Produktion von Laktose. α-Lactalbumin bildet die regulatorische Untereinheit des Laktose-Synthase (LS)-Heterodimers und β-1,4-Galactosyltransferase (beta4Gal-T1) bildet die katalytische Komponente.
