AMACR/P504S Mouse mAb ist ein Antikörper von ELK Biotechnology für Forschungsabläufe, die AMACR/P504S betreffen.
AMACR wurde kürzlich als Prostatakrebs-spezifisches Gen beschrieben, das ein Protein kodiert, das an der Beta-Oxidation von verzweigtkettigen Fettsäuren beteiligt ist. Die Expression des AMACR-Proteins wird im prostatischen Adenokarzinom, aber nicht im gutartigen Prostatagewebe gefunden. Es färbt prämaligne Läsionen der Prostata: hochgradige intraepitheliale Neoplasie der Prostata (PIN) und atypische adenomatöse Hyperplasie.
