α-Actinin-Kaninchen-pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology-Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die α-Actinin betreffen.
α-Actinin gehört zur Spektrin-Familie der Zytoskelettproteine. α-Actinin ist für die Anheftung von Aktinfilamenten an die Z-Scheiben in Skelettmuskelzellen und an die Dense Bodies in glatten Muskelzellen notwendig. Das funktionelle Protein ist ein antiparalleles Dimer, das die dünnen Filamente in benachbarten Sarkomeren miteinander vernetzt und somit koordinierte Kontraktionen zwischen Sarkomeren in der horizontalen Achse ermöglicht.
