Superoxiddismutase 2, mitochondrial, auch bekannt als SOD2, ist ein Enzym, das beim Menschen durch das SOD2-Gen kodiert wird. Dieses Gen ist ein Mitglied der Eisen/Mangan-Superoxiddismutase-Familie. Es kodiert ein mitochondrialen Matrixprotein, das ein Homotetramer bildet und ein Manganion pro Untereinheit bindet.
