mCherry-Tag Rabbit pAb ist ein Antikörper von ELK Biotechnology für Forschungsabläufe, die mCherry-Tag umfassen.
mCherry ist ein Fluorophor (ein fluoreszierendes Molekül), das in der Biotechnologie als Tracer zur Verfolgung von Flüssigkeitsströmen und als Marker, wenn es an Moleküle und Zellkomponenten angehängt wird, verwendet wird. mCherry ist ein monomerer fluoreszierender Konstrukt mit Absorptions-/Emissionspeaks bei 587 nm bzw. 610 nm. Es ist resistent gegen Photobleaching und stabil. mCherry wird manchmal anderen Fluorophoren aufgrund seiner Farbe sowie seiner Photostabilität im Vergleich zu anderen monomeren Fluorophoren vorgezogen.
