PHF21B (PHD-Fingerprotein 21B), auch bekannt als PHF4, ist ein Protein mit 531 Aminosäuren, das einen PHD-Typ-Zinkfinger enthält und als mehrere alternativ gespleißte Isoformen exprimiert wird. Das Gen, das PHF21B kodiert, kartiert auf das menschliche Chromosom 22, das über 500 Gene beherbergt und das zweitkleinste menschliche Chromosom ist. Mutationen in mehreren der Gene, die auf Chromosom 22 kartieren, sind an der Entwicklung des Phelan-McDermid-Syndroms, der Neurofibromatose Typ 2, Autismus und Schizophrenie beteiligt.
