Chondroitinsulfat-Proteoglykan 4, auch bekannt als Melanom-assoziiertes Chondroitinsulfat-Proteoglykan (MCSP) oder Neuron-Glia-Antigen 2 (NG2), ist ein Chondroitinsulfat-Proteoglykan, das beim Menschen durch das CSPG4-Gen kodiert wird. CSPG4 spielt eine Rolle bei der Stabilisierung von Zell-Substrat-Interaktionen während der frühen Stadien der Ausbreitung von Melanomzellen auf endothelialen Basalmembranen. Es handelt sich um ein integrales Membran-Chondroitinsulfat-Proteoglykan, das von menschlichen malignen Melanomzellen exprimiert wird.
