LSM11 ist eine Komponente des U7 snRNP-Komplexes, der an der Prozessierung der Histon-3'-End-prä-mRNA beteiligt ist. Erhöht die U7 snRNA-Spiegel, aber nicht die Histon-3'-End-prä-mRNA-Prozessierungsaktivität bei Überexpression. Erforderlich für den Zellzyklusfortschritt von der G1- zur S-Phase.
