Protein Mis18-alpha ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen durch das MIS18A-Gen kodiert wird. C21orf45, auch bekannt als MIS18A, C21orf46 und FASP1, ist für die Rekrutierung von CENPA zu Zentromeren und die normale Chromosomensegregation während der Mitose erforderlich. C21orf45 existiert in Dimer (~52 kDa) und Heterodimer (~105 kDa) Formen.
