Aspartat-Aminotransferase, zytoplasmatisch, ist ein Enzym, das beim Menschen durch das GOT1-Gen kodiert wird. Glutamat-Oxalacetat-Transaminase ist ein Pyridoxalphosphat-abhängiges Enzym, das in zytoplasmatischen und mitochondrialen Formen, GOT1 bzw. GOT2, existiert. GOT spielt eine Rolle im Aminosäurestoffwechsel und in den Harnstoff- und Zitronensäurezyklen. Die beiden Enzyme sind homodimer und zeigen eine enge Homologie.
