DMA-Kaninchen-pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die DMA beinhalten.

Hintergrund

HLA-DMA gehört zu den Paralogien der HLA-Klasse-II-Alpha-Kette. Dieses Klasse-II-Molekül ist ein Heterodimer, das aus einer Alpha- (DMA) und einer Beta-Kette (DMB) besteht, die beide in der Membran verankert sind. Es befindet sich in intrazellulären Vesikeln. DM spielt eine zentrale Rolle bei der Peptidbeladung von MHC-Klasse-II-Molekülen, indem es hilft, das CLIP-Molekül von der Peptidbindungsstelle freizusetzen. Klasse-II-Moleküle werden in Antigen-präsentierenden Zellen (APC: B-Lymphozyten, dendritische Zellen, Makrophagen) exprimiert. Die Alpha-Kette ist ca. 33-35 kDa groß und ihr Gen enthält 5 Exons. Exon eins kodiert das Leader-Peptid, die Exons 2 und 3 kodieren die beiden extrazellulären Domänen, Exon 4 kodiert die Transmembrandomäne und den zytoplasmatischen Schwanz.
