Phosphorylation of I-Kappa-B on a serine residue by the IKK complex frees NF-kB from I-Kappa-B and marks it for degradation via ubiquination. IKK-beta has been shown to activate NF-kB and phosphorylate IKB-alpha and beta. Phosphorylation of 2 sites at the activation loop of IKK-beta is essential for activation of IKK by TNF and IL1. Once activated, IKK-beta autophosphorylates which in turn decreases IKK activity and prevents prolonged activation of the inflammatory response. Additionally, IKK-beta activity can also be regulated by MEKK-1.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"100μL","offer_id":57660859154772,"sku":"ABM202189","price":205.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50μL","offer_id":57660859187540,"sku":"ABM202190","price":141.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-e4d1247dd41f830ca57b1746a02d60f6140b0f18edbd904f08e3155d039dac0f.jpg?v=1792159133","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/products\/abm202189","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
