Mitochondrial ribosomes (mitoribosomes) consist of a small 28S subunit and a large 39S subunit. They have an estimated 75% protein to rRNA composition compared to prokaryotic ribosomes, where this ratio is reversed. Another difference between mammalian mitoribosomes and prokaryotic ribosomes is that the latter contain a 5S rRNA. Among different species, the proteins comprising the mitoribosome differ greatly in sequence, and sometimes in biochemical properties, which prevents easy recognition by sequence homology. This gene encodes a 28S subunit protein that belongs to the ribosomal protein S10P family. Pseudogenes corresponding to this gene are found on chromosomes 1q, 3p, and 9p.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"20ul","offer_id":57661142499668,"sku":"ABM193157","price":69.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50ul","offer_id":57661142532436,"sku":"ABM193158","price":115.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"100ul","offer_id":57661142565204,"sku":"ABM193159","price":176.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-cb879554bcaed2a64d629c56f6fa2b0cd909bc4eb7cc98217ff86d2a33f26e7b.jpg?v=1792158948","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/products\/abm193157","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
