{"product_id":"abm158125","title":"COX17 Polyclonal Antibody","description":"\u003ch3\u003eBackground\u003c\/h3\u003e\u003cp\u003eCytochrome c oxidase (COX), the terminal component of the mitochondrial respiratory chain, catalyzes the electron transfer from reduced cytochrome c to oxygen. This component is a heteromeric complex consisting of 3 catalytic subunits encoded by mitochondrial genes and multiple structural subunits encoded by nuclear genes. The mitochondrially-encoded subunits function in electron transfer, and the nuclear-encoded subunits may function in the regulation and assembly of the complex. This nuclear gene encodes a protein which is not a structural subunit, but may be involved in the recruitment of copper to mitochondria for incorporation into the COX apoenzyme. This protein shares 92% amino acid sequence identity with mouse and rat Cox17 proteins. This gene is no longer considered to be a candidate gene for COX deficiency. A pseudogene COX17P has been found on chromosome 13.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"BT LAB","offers":[{"title":"20ul","offer_id":57659976089940,"sku":"ABM158125","price":69.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"50ul","offer_id":57659976122708,"sku":"ABM158126","price":115.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true},{"title":"100ul","offer_id":57659976155476,"sku":"ABM158127","price":176.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/1040\/1782\/2036\/files\/btlab-d5f0b1bae26d500c8dac99c5d54e3bd9132c4864f50658aa3be99e58ba61e631.jpg?v=1792157349","url":"https:\/\/www.abmium.com\/products\/abm158125","provider":"ABMIUM","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
